π What is an RFQ?
A Request for Quotation (RFQ) is a formal request that you can raise in your vFulfill account to get the best landing cost, lowest possible MOQ options, lead time to inward the stock and to explore private labelling options.
β
This is done to ensure that you know the final landing cost inclusive of all charges like product buying price, customs duty & freight β before you decide to source the same product.
β
β
Before we dive in, let's understand a few terminologies :
β
Term | Description |
π¦ MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity) | The minimum number of units to source, starting at 100 units at vFulfill. |
π Landing Cost | Total cost per unit, including product price, shipping, duties, and handling - basically, what it costs to get the product from the supplier to the vFulfill warehouse. |
β³ Lead Time | Time to source and deliver the product to the warehouse after order approval. It can vary based on location and customization. |
π Off-the-shelf Product | Ready-made products thatβs already available in the market and can be sourced quickly without any customization. |
π·οΈ Private Label Product | Products made for your brand (e.g., custom logos/packaging), requiring higher MOQs and longer lead times. |
βοΈ Custom Manufactured Product | Products that needs to be designed and produced from scratch based on your unique specifications, materials, or design ideas. |
π RFQ Credits | Credits that represent how many RFQs you can raise in a month to get product quotations based on your plan. |
Quote Success Indicator | The more complete your RFQ, the better the chances of a quick, accurate quote. |
β
π€ When Should You Submit an RFQ?
Now that you're familiar with the important terms, letβs talk about the situations where you can submit an RFQ.
|
|
TIP: Any cost that has NOT BEEN updated in the last 10 days, we recommend you to raise an RFQ before you go ahead & source the same. Due to market dynamics, the cost today might be much lower than the mentioned cost which is 10 days old.
β
π RFQ Limits Based on Plan
Depending on your plan, the number of RFQs you can raise each month will vary. Here's a quick look:
β
Plan | Monthly RFQ Limit |
π Free | 1 RFQ per plan duration |
π Mover | 3 RFQs per month |
π Shaker | 10 RFQs per month |
π Earthquaker | 30 RFQs per month |
Important :
β
βοΈ Unused RFQs do not carry over to the next month.
βοΈ RFQs reset on the 1st date of every month.
