๐Ÿš€ Platform Roundup - April 2026

Written by Deeksha Yadav

This month, we gave you your numbers back.

Not just more data. Better clarity.
โ€‹

There's a version of scaling that looks like growth - where orders increase, revenue climbs, and operations become busier but decision-making still feels uncertain underneath.
โ€‹

You're still asking:

  • Which products are actually worth scaling?

  • Which states are operationally risky?

  • Where are margins weakening?

  • What's quietly affecting profitability?

  • Where is inventory coordination slowing things down?

That gap between data and clarity is exactly what we focused on this month.
โ€‹

From a completely new Analytics experience to a centralized inventory movement system, these updates are designed to help you operate with sharper visibility, faster decisions, and stronger operational control.
โ€‹

๐Ÿ”ฅ Less guesswork. Faster decisions. Smarter scaling.
โ€‹

๐ŸŒฐ In a nutshell - here's what's new

  • Analytics Module - track profitability, delivery performance, and business health from one centralized dashboard

  • Orders Analysis - spot winning products, risky geographies, and delivery issues earlier

  • Exact P&L - understand true profitability per product and per order with complete cost visibility

  • Estimated P&L - get early profitability projections before deliveries fully close

  • Move Inventory - move stock across warehouses, marketplaces, and your own facilities through one structured workflow

  • Automated Movement Logging - every inventory movement is now system-tracked automatically

โญ๏ธ Key Updates

1. Analytics - Now Your Business Has a Control Room

One of the biggest challenges while scaling in India COD isn't a lack of data. It's fragmented visibility. Reports live in different places. Insights come too late. And by the time numbers are compiled manually, decisions have often already been made on instinct.

The new Analytics Module changes that structure entirely - giving you a centralized layer built around the questions operators actually ask while scaling.
โ€‹

Not just "how many orders came?" - but:

  • Which products are sustainably profitable?

  • Which states are operationally weakening?

  • Where are margins tightening?

  • What deserves more scaling and what doesn't?
    โ€‹

A) Orders Analysis - See What's Changing Before It Becomes a Problem

The Orders Analysis dashboard helps you study how the business is behaving underneath - operationally and commercially - without having to stitch reports together yourself.

โ€‹

What you can now track:

1.Product & SKU Performance: Orders, placed orders, delivered orders, revenue, AOV, AOQ, FADR, and SADR - all at product level, all in one place.
โ€‹
Use the Cross Product Comparative Report to compare any two products side-by-side on a single metric.
โ€‹
Drill into any individual product's full performance curve - day-wise, weekly, or monthly using the Product Report view.
โ€‹
โ€‹

โ€‹

โ€‹
โ€‹

2. Geographic Performance: State-wise order distribution shown on a map and pie-chart simultaneously.
โ€‹
The table below breaks down every state by confirmation rate, delivery rate, revenue, shipping time, FADR, and SADR - all sortable.
โ€‹
You can immediately see which states are efficient to serve and which are volume-heavy but operationally risky.
โ€‹

โ€‹

3.NDR & Cancellation Insights: A dedicated breakdown shows total NDR orders, how many were delivered after NDR, open NDRs, and a reason breakdown - each with top-performing state for recovery.
โ€‹
Not just that NDRs are happening, but why and where.
โ€‹
โ€‹

โ€‹

4. COD vs Prepaid Behaviour: See how your payment mix is shifting and what it means for confirmation rates, delivery risk, and operational load.
โ€‹

The biggest shift is speed of visibility. Insights that previously required multiple exports and manual stitching are now connected into one view you can check daily.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Go to Analytics โ†’ Orders Analysis to explore product, geography, and delivery insights.

๐Ÿš€ Why this matters:
The best operators don't just react faster - they identify patterns earlier. That's the real advantage this dashboard is built to create.

B) Exact P&L and Estimated P&L - Revenue Isn't Profit. Now You Can See the Difference with Early Signals.

A product generating strong revenue can still quietly weaken your business if the unit economics don't hold.

Exact P&L gives you the financial layer most COD operators are missing - not just what came in, but what actually stayed.
โ€‹
By the time final P&L reporting closes, your campaigns are often already in motion for another week. Estimated P&L reduces that lag.

What you can now see:

1. Top-Line Profitability at a Glance: Summary cards for Orders, Placed Orders, Total Cost, Gross Profit, and Profit per Placed Order - each with period-on-period comparison.
โ€‹
You immediately know whether profitability is trending up or down before reading a single table.
โ€‹
โ€‹

โ€‹

2. Product-wise P&L Table: Every product broken down by revenue, COGS, operational cost, gross profit/loss, and profit per placed order - sortable by any column.
โ€‹
This is where you find out that Product A looks successful on orders but is margin-negative, and Product B is smaller in volume but your most profitable asset.

โ€‹

3. Full Cost Waterfall: A visual chart that starts from revenue and subtracts every cost category - product cost, inward fee, fulfilment & shipping, platform charges, and others - landing on gross profit.
โ€‹
You can see exactly which cost is eating the most margin and how each is trending.
โ€‹

4. Order-Level Transaction Detail: Drill all the way down to individual orders - product cost, fulfilment fee, forward shipping fee, COD remittance, GST deduction - everything that went into or out of that specific order. Exportable for reconciliation.

5. Early Profit Projections: Based on your last 7 days of order activity, the platform projects your expected gross profit and margin direction before deliveries fully close. A directional read on whether this week is on track or needs attention.

โ€‹
This helps you answer the questions that actually determine whether scaling is healthy:

โœ… Which products are genuinely profitable?

โœ… Which products only look successful on revenue?

โœ… Which costs are hurting margins most?

โœ… Is scaling improving profitability or quietly weakening it?
โ€‹

๐Ÿ‘‰ Go to Analytics โ†’ P&L Analysis to study profitability product-wise and by cost category.

๐Ÿš€ Why this matters:
Healthy scaling isn't just about increasing orders - it's about protecting profitability while growing. The stronger your visibility into margins, the sharper your scaling decisions become.
โ€‹
Earlier visibility also means faster optimization. You can now identify risky scaling behaviour before inefficiencies become expensive.

2. Move Inventory - Transfer Stock with Full Visibility & Tracking

Stock transfers often meant email threads, manual approvals, fragmented tracking, and constant follow-ups just to know whether stock actually moved. As operations scale, this becomes operationally exhausting.

The new Move Inventory module replaces all of that with one centralized, trackable workflow.

From a single interface, you can now move inventory across:

  • vFulfill warehouses - balance stock between fulfilment centres

  • Your own address - shift inventory to your warehouse or business location

  • Marketplace destinations - replenish Amazon FCs, Blinkit hubs, or other partner

How it works: Select your pickup warehouse โ†’ choose variants & quantities (with live stock counts visible) โ†’ pick your destination โ†’ see estimated arrival time โ†’ review the movement summary โ†’ confirm.

Once submitted, the transfer is tracked end-to-end with live status updates - so you always know what's in transit, what's been received, and what's pending.

What gets captured automatically:

  • Product, SKU, quantity moved, source, and destination

  • Movement charges associated with the transfer

  • Timestamps and full transfer trail - end to end

The result is a complete, auditable movement history that updates in real time.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Go to Inventory โ†’ Move Inventory to initiate a stock transfer.

๐Ÿš€ Why this matters:
This update reduces coordination overhead and gives you much tighter control over stock distribution as you scale across channels. Automated logging gives you a movement record that scales reliably with your operations.

๐Ÿ’ก Operational Insight of the Month

Read your P&L before you read your orders.

Most scaling decisions start with: "This product is doing well - let's push it harder."

That instinct is usually right. But it's incomplete.

A product with strong order volume may still have weak margins, high delivery costs, or poor unit economics that only become visible at scale. And by the time those patterns show up in final reporting, you've often already compounded the problem.

Three things worth checking every week:

1. Profit per placed order - not just Revenue shows growth. Profit per placed order shows sustainability. These two numbers don't always move in the same direction - and the gap between them is where most scaling mistakes live.

2. FADR + margin together, by state A state with a high first-attempt delivery rate is cheaper to serve. When you combine delivery efficiency with per-order margin, you stop optimising for volume alone and start identifying your genuinely high-value geographies.

3. Estimated P&L within the first 7 days of a new product Don't wait for final data to judge whether something is working. Use early profitability signals to decide whether to hold, optimize, scale, or pause - before the spend compounds.

The goal isn't to analyse more. It's to ask better questions earlier and now the platform is built to answer them.

โœจ Wrapping Up

This month's updates are focused on one thing: helping you operate with more conviction.

When visibility improves, decisions become sharper. When inventory movement is controlled, operations become less dependent on manual coordination. When profitability is visible early, scaling becomes more deliberate.

Whether it's understanding margins before they compound, spotting delivery risks before they escalate, or moving stock without the coordination overhead - every improvement this month is designed to reduce operational blind spots as your business grows.

We're continuing to build vFulfill as an operational system for serious COD operators - one that becomes more powerful as your scale increases.

Here's to clearer visibility, tighter operations, and smarter scaling. ๐ŸŒŸ
